My question for everyone is are there any safe, chip damage focused characters? I'm thinking someone like Beetle in terms of safety or a set up heavy character? I'm thinking of building a team based on divergent, complimentary styles. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking Gamora and Chris or Hawkeye perhaps?

OOOOOO we can play now! BUT i would say, play it now just to get a feel of what team u have the most fun because there's a BIG patch that changes EVERYTHING on Dec 2 I believe. It will change how broken as fuck Dante is, changes to Reality Stone, Time Stone, and others. I posted a video of somebody explaining the most important changes on page 28. Chris will get a MAJOR buff in like ALL his attacks, so this would be the perfect time to get familiar with his moves. Lucky you ;)

*Gives JBeezy a side eye look* Listen sugar, you won't play me in Injustice 2 cause you're not ready, I haven't even gotten to play the game yet.

You gone have to call back when I get those games in a game you've played for half a year.

By the time work stops beating my ass, it'll probably be patch day lol. I am excited to hear that though, Chris is one of the only characters I like and one of the reasons I wanted to get into MVC3 but opted out due to lateness and a lack of time.

To keep it ALL THE WAY LIVE, I think I've come to the conclusion that i just suck at that game lol. My time is on Tekken 7 at the time being, but as soon as that patch comes out MVCi will get my focus back! BUT, I suppose we can get some games in sometime soon ;)

And Chris will be a beast after this patch because hardly anybody uses him online. So that will switch that meta. Dante will be destroyed. Most (if not all) of his moves wont be automatically home cancel to your opponent, his moves will be 1-2 frames less (something like that) and he's gonna be a low health character now like Rocket Racoon. I think its good for the game because he fits in EVERY FUCKING TEAM! Its redonkulous! I would play him now so u will know exactly what im talking about. I mean, shit, team him with Chris lol

Have been getting good mileage out of Nova/Nemesis Recently, but unfortunately PC community still ded.

How's the ps4 community holding up? I might pick it up for cheap if i find a good Black Friday sale.

OOOO Thats a good choice. I havent touched it in awhile, but im sure its holding up pretty well online wise. I probably wont get deep into it until after the patch in December..

EDIT

I may lab a little bit with Chris since hes getting buffed mad crazy ;)

It's the most active mvci platform but it's still nothing like i2 or SFV in activity imo. I'd sometimes wait 10-15 minutes for a match lol. That's not too accurate though coz I'm not in the US which is where the game is most active and the search is somewhat glitched where you have to reset it every 2 minutes if you want to get matches.

Match finding is actually pretty good in this game. Sometimes the lag gets bad, but for the most part, after you're done with a match, you just research with the criteria you have then it either finds an opponent quickly or researches again.

Apparently, JUST saw the trailer and HOLY SHIT! This pack looks awesome! I LOOOOOVE characters that can armor through moves so Winter Soldier is gonna be my first pick ;)

Black Widow kinda looks like a Gamora Spider man hybrid, and Venom....his voice sounds....super weird lol. AND DEC 5!?!? THATS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! This game just got some LIFE back!

Woooow get that Smeagol sounding ass outta here, I can't believe they fucked up the one good character in this pack lmao.

Guess i'll try out Widow but she just looks so.. vanilla.
Her and WS are what I'd expect from a modded character that just reuses moves already in the game. Bombs, guns and flips.... Idk why i expected anything different.

I get that they want to stick to the MCU for characters but they had many other options that could've had creative movesets instead.
Hopefully next batch.

His voice is quite weird to say the least, but eh...his playstyle seems very similar to his attacks the in MVC series, which is nice. I really wasn't much of a venom player so im not too hyped for that. Im hyped that this DLC is RIGHT around the corner!
