Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite

It's all so very confusing.
Anyone know where I can find an early resource for Gamora/Zero combos? Youtube has some stuff, but I have no idea whats shitty silly swag and what's "real" and practical.

I don't know if this is known or not, but it seems if you cancel a string into Time Gem to cross up but then switch characters, the character will come out on the original side, even though your character has passed through the opponent to their other side. Looks like a pretty tricky and super easy setup.

I've seen a lot of people doing UMvC3 stuff, like Zero's crazy laser loops. Until the forums get a bit more active, it might be better to look up old UMvC3 info since it seems a lot of it still applies.

Yeah I might hold off on Zero.. after watching some vids and such, he (I swear I always thought Zero was a girl) looks like he's pretty high up the hard as fuck to play spectrum and I'm super weak on execution as a general rule. I can get just about anything down that anyone else can, but it what takes a normal person a couple hours of practice can take me weeks.. for a game I'm not 100% sure on yet that's a bad way to get started. But who knows, maybe I can find poverty versions of his stuff that aren't optimal but aren't as crazy long.

Spent some more time fiddling about with the cast trying to make a decision. Nova is more fun than I thought. Gamora is probably going to have a place on my team. Capt Marvel is pretty dope. I don't think I like Jedah as much as I first thought, but he's still really interesting. Thanos isn't a character id usually look at, but despite his size and such he doesn't "feel" heavy like you'd expect and he hits like a truck.

Basically im trying to find two characters I like that have relatively easy combo execution so I can get a feel for things.

Ghost Rider is looking pretty good and pretty easy. I saw Ketchup (or Mustard?) using a Ghost Rider/Nemesis team and wrecking people in ranked. They seemed to have great synergy,

I'm on the same boat as far as execution, takes me 5x the time to get things down compared to almost everyone else, that goes for the understanding of gsmeplay etc. Hey maybe someday we could play some matches and call it, "the battle of the late bloomers" lol.

I know both those feelings only I suffer from mid battle nerves. Practice combos till i can do them 10/10 times in a row, and a ton of different hit confirm situations. Then i end up missing hit confirms and Dropping combos when i'm actually in matches.

I know that feeling bro.

Execution Stone: player can no longer drop any combos once it starts, engine will auto finish dropped combos with hard knockdown. Lol.

Wow, Fate's df1 special (bolts?) has insane active frames. You can use it and call your assist and it will keep the opponent locked down for a looong-ass time, just like Sentinel Drones assist from previous titles.

I usually have a decent understanding of the games themselves. I get the meta and why it's played and what's happening and I can apply that to my play, and I don't really have performance nerves exactly. I mean, like anyone in a one-hit scramble or ultra close set I'll get wired up pretty good, but issue isnt nerves, so much as nerve damage.

My hands are shit. 15years as a fighter on top of always having worked with my hands have left them in bad shape. I have weak bones in my hands, always have had and have had 14 or so breaks over the years between just life-accidents and damage from boxing/mma stuff. Then the raccoon thing on my left hand, lol.

It's difficult to explain exactly but they are stiff as boards and seize up snd shake a little sometimes, and the manual dexterity I used to have is kind of a pipe dream. The closest analog I can come up with is imagine if your controller or stick's buttons and dpad moved very slightly, and the pressure to push a button changes very slightly. Its weird, but thats the best I can do to explain it. I can 'beat' it though through crazy long repetition and time I can just dig it so far into muscle memory that it'll work most of the time.. but that takes me a lot longer than some people - not everyone though.

/end whining rant. Just kind of explaining why I sort of obsess over execution sometimes.

At least you have a reason lol. I just suck at fighting games, but I love them. Damn boxings tuff man, I don't know how someone can box, I love watching it but don't think I could ever box, it takes cojones. Hope you rest it out and your hands get better bro.

... anyone else having trouble finding matches when you put on 3+ bars minimum??? I kinda wish this game would go F2P just to get the game out to more people. Of course sales were going to bomb- this isn't the kinda game you could get people to buy based on looks, they really need to just try it,

Also, anyone who wants games against someone who is completely free but wants to learn add me pls and fight mah ArThor (PSN: Tony_at_home)

(edit)
Also, I'm located in DC, so probz not best if youre in europe

Agree on the presentation, shame it sold poorly but they saw what happened with KOF 14 they should have known.

I heard there's some issues finding matches and that you're more likely to find them while in training mode with fight request on

I was wondering what the hell was up. I mean, i can't find a match with a 5+ connection rating at all! I just put my setting to 3+ and come up with more matches. The lag is not too bad tho. Online runs pretty smooth

I'll definetly test 5+ out to see if there's a major difference. And since the Injustice patch is the plague, I'm going to be playing this often :)

BTW Zero and Spider Man = Team Cocaine!
