Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite

I always been a marvel player and stepped into the NRS scene with mkx... This Marvel is ALOT harder than the previous ones but its SO FUN AND ADDICTING.. I have erase about 6 years of muscle memory, so Im struggling a bit.. but if you never played Marvel this is perfect
This is my first marvel. I played umvc3 but it was when the game was "old" already, (somehow marvel games never get old though lol), I had so much fun but then I stopped playing it due to getting sfv, I alsi played xmen vs SF so I know how fun these vs games are. But are you saying this is perfect for a beginner like me? Why?

its oerfect for u because u wont play it like UMVC3... I'm so use to UMVC mechanics its messes me up. You wont have to worry about that

The gameplay is great if you have some experience in the previous marvel games. If this is your first time playing marvel, it will be rough. It has a very steep learning curve and you will need to learn how to deal with a lot of different broken setups.

In a way, THIS makes a very creative and unpredictable way to create teams and combos. The hard part is learning how to pull that shit off.

I've been playing nothing but training mode since the game came out and I honestly feel like I've gotten nowhere. I see footage of pros playing and I don't understand what the neutral is or where the mind games are lol.
Same feeling here, only training but seems like it's gonna take a long time to get mechanics, gameplay, etc. down. Nothing else than keep grinding I guess.

Best way to learn is just jump online and see how other people play, even if it ruins your record, who cares. And if you get your ass kicked, adapt to their play-styles, and find ways to implement that to your ability to get better.

force them to block your stuff, tag, do some mixups. move to avoid their mixups, don't get forced to block anything. Punish poor tags, they linger for a very long time. Use your storms to lock them out of theirs. :)

More Ass and Tits for MK11
Why does the roster for this game suck ass compared to every other MvC game? Like come on, no X-Men?!?! And half of the characters that are cool, like Dante, Cap, and Spidey look like absolute ass

bitch SAME. I am so fucking lost on what the neutral game is at all, I hop online and it's just a dude going wild on me for a minute while I block/pushblock.

PS3. That's why?
I know with SFV, there a legacy setting where it detects last gen sticks. I never actually checked to see if this goes the same for MvCi. If not, you might need to get the Brooks Converter to use your stick if you don't want to dish out money for a current gen stick.

I get beat by auto combos and button mashers, ama
We in the same boat my dude lol. These people online have no shame - it says "auto combo" and it feels like they're proud and I'm over here like smh.

EntropicByDesign

It's all so very confusing.
So.. It looks like MvCI DOES NOT support legacy sticks? Im googling and finding absolutely nothing but people posting it doesn't.

Im sorry, but that is a load of fucking horseshit. I know I can buy a converter, but I shouldn't have too. I know this is partly Sony's fault for not including native backwards compatibility, but pretty much EVERY other fighting game, INCLUDING SFV, provides this. So a 60$ game now becomes closer to 100$ + wait time for the converter, or, buy a whole new 200$ stick when my current one is perfect in every regard.

/salt.

That is extremely annoying. I know the game is supposed to be really pad friendly, and I guess that's the route I should go, its just.. well, its shitty.

I'm pretty new to the series too but I don't have damn clue how to play this game. Trying to find a video series that explains what the hell is happening on my screen.
