Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite

I'm sure we won't get them, but it would be cool if the game had tag team specials to replace assists. Each character would have an extra strong special that could only be used in tandem with their partner. Like Ant Man's would be him going big and throwing his teammate across the screen, or Spiderman would web throw his opponent and his teammate would catch him and throw him back. It would cost no meter unlike team hyper combos, but it could only be used once per character.

It'd also be cool if instead of it being 2v2 only we could have 2v1 or 3v2 or 4v1. If it were 2v1 for example just give the player with 1 character 100% total health and the guy with 2 characters 90% total health, 45% per character. Won't happen though

One more thing, I REALLY hope they put Nightcrawler in.

You ever play skullgirls? That exact system is in that game, and that's even how its played in tournament. I also doubt Capcom will ever do that though, but I hope they do!

Movie Drax is a huge departure from comic Drax, he is not green in the movies at all, he's grey.

well i believe that it would be Marvel's fault because they chose to limit or erase the X-men out of current circulation. They made a bad deal to get out of bankruptcy and now hate FOX for wanting to profit off of their investment. Marvel wants the X-men franchise to return back to them and NOT give Fox additional promotion but ultimately this hurts them and the fans not Fox. Casuals will continue to see X-Men films no matter how good or bad they are.

This is one of the few times where I'd say just wait. Fortunately Ono already posted a teaser to get the fire burning again after a long period of silence.

Some people are skeptical regarding lack of news. A 2017 fighting game release to get no periodic announcements is definitely a bit concerning. I also had that sentiment and began to wonder why that was the case. Was the game undergoing issues? Did they just announce it too early? Will it be delayed?

I talked with Combofiend actually when he came Hackerfight around less than a month ago. I wasn't trying to seriously wrangle information (other than asking if "My Boy" is back, in which he just dodged the question very gracefully). I did ask him about the concerning silence regarding announcements.

The answer he gave me is that they really don't want to fuck things up this time. They don't want to pull a SFV launch so they are much more careful this time to not step on any egg shells. They rather be silent and plan.

He does have a hand in this game, and Combofiend + Marvel is good math by my book. It's at least to keep a cynical person like me optimistic.
Just some thoughts I'd spill.

Yes. Fox and Sony do not own video game rights to those Marvel characters. It's literally just movie rights. You're all nuts. The only reason X-men wouldn't be in MvCI is if Disney doesn't want to promote them.

And Spider-Man is not back at Marvel, @Kooron Nation. Sony and Marvel merely reached a deal that allowed them to both use the character (and for the Sony made Spider-man to include Iron Man etc). Sony still owns the film rights and is producing Homecoming

It's because Marvel doesn't want to advertise or promote Fox/Sony characters. Recently Sony made a deal with Marvel to help them with Spiderman since it hasn't done so well. They deal is Sony get's a little over half of the profit for the Spiderman movie coming out "Homecoming."

Yes Marvel got in trouble and sold some of the movie rights for nothing to get out of debt. They still were in trouble and Disney saved them. Now they are better then ever. Petty on them I agree now they want the rights back and stop promoting Xmen/F4/Spiderman. But Also sucky that Fox is not going the route of Sony to have them help make better movies which I'm sure they can make a deal. But the Xmen movies have not been good lately IMO besides Logan, First Class, and X2.
