I know mame32 64 is by far the most popular platform but for some reason just running the version uses up 95%+ of my computers processing power (pushing any button pushes it up to 100%).
Running mame32++.119 doesnt even use up 7% of my processor when its being run.
Can I get a suggestion from a computer whizz to help remedy this issue. I want to play with people but not at the cost of crashing my computer.
I run:
Win7 (64bit)
i5 processor
8GB of RAM
1GB ATI HD 5470 Radeon
I know its nothing super powerful or anything but I can normally be playing Mame++119, watching a bluray, downloading stuff and surfing the web with out even using 30% of my power. I dont understand how such an old version of mame can be so taxing on my computer.
