Credits exist to buy you loot boxes.
Loot boxes exist to give you gear
Source crystals exist to visually transform that gear into other gear, buy hype shaders and premiere skins, or purchase weird things like upgrading your character level
Regen tokens exist to re-roll the stats for a piece your gear

That's my 2s summary, but someone who knows a lot more about these kinds of things can probably go more in-depth.

Are the regen tokens the purple ones or the green ones? What does the other one do then?

Any thoughts on my second question? Would tagging a Dev be appropriate?
