Match-up Discussion - Lackey Lackey vs Kotal (BG/SG/Mabye WG) possibly 7-3 or 6-4

Today I've came to ask the Lackey/ Ferra torr community about the Kotal vs FT MU. Specifically Lackey. And k have came here to make a hypothesis. Is kotal vs lackey ft a possible 7-3?
My arguments:

- 114 air grab whiffs midscreen on hit
- b122 cmmd grab (SG) whiffs on hit midscreen
- lackey has the Ability to D1 through all strings into sunstone excluding 114 (SG/BG)

- You can reversal bf3 in every string into sunstone and it will eat the sunstone (SG/BG)

What do you guys think? Your thought on the MU?

Oh yes, and lackey deals out damage in chunks aswell. So when lackey gets in on BG he can atleast do a 32% plus or with Defense totem a possibly 25 percent 1 bar.

Update: lackey can meterless bf3 all Sun god command grab tick throws and punish them. And since its pseudo sags if you guess wrong on the command grab your safe. Only Kotals d1 can punish it

Do you know how many non shitty F/Ts go to tournaments or are online? Not too many bruh. Im sure there are a ton of people who don't know the MU even now, myself included. Idk whats going on. I just see d1/d3 mashing and safe shit.

Yea i've always looked at this matchup and just shook my head. Not being able to combo the fucker on your biggest pressure string is BAD. The fact that you literally just can't use your pressure tools without getting fucked is a real downer.

I don't play lackey but The whiff issues are also with vicous and ruthless. Seems like kotal has a Hard time against ft in general

War god is Lackey's best match up imo. we can armour through the swoprd mix ups for free, and roll can punish the other sword option without a hole.

bf3 is -10
db2 is -12.
2b4 is -12 or something

plenty of shit to punish us on, none of our specials end safely unless its very meaty.

Everyone can armor his sword mixups for free though so there really isn't anything new there. Its still not something that can be done on a consistent basis, especially when the War God player mixes it up so much that it no longer becomes predictable. Even Sonic Fox has been seen to struggle a bit vs War God and not punish things consistently.

As a War God player, its sucks when my swords get punished free but I would much rather take a reversal special punish that does a little damage than a full combo launching special or combo starter where I lose at least 30% of my life every time.

I think what he means Is we can armor it meterless. Bf3 meterless has 1 hit of armor.
