It doesn't benefit the player because it is not a good option for them to go for. You're really exaggerating now, getting knocked down is not in his favor and having to break leaves you without stamina for 8 seconds and buzzsaw lao really needs stamina at all times pretty much to initiate offense. No half decent kung lao player will revolve his game around this. Especially if you play buzzsaw you don't want to waste that meter. I assure you anyone who would lose to a lao player who revolves his game around this would lose even worse to a lao player who actually knows how to play the character instead of relying on a gimmick.
No one said anyone would revolve their game around it.

Its gonna be unfair to every person with a Lao main or pocket Lao. The entire character shouldn't be banned, that takes away a lot of good competition. If you ban the move then that'll be the best solution. If Lao is completely banned, expect to see a lot more Kung Jins:DOGE
When did he say to ban the character?

Guys... at least try to stop arguing against things no one is saying.

I think no one want's the KL players to use this bug on purpose. And the fact that nobody discovered it until now shows how often those moves are used on wakeup in standard KL gameplay. So if somebody does it, it's clearly on purpose and deserves disqualification.

On a side note; I wonder how many specials in the game suffer that glitch. I mean has anybody ever woke up with takedas red ball? Or scorpions mid minion?

actually chaosphere said he would always keep a bar to have the ex teleport glitch option at hand.
So keeping an option in your back pocket = entire game plan now?

this is ridiculous. Alot of people seem to be freaking out over the idea of Kung Lao being banned, which in literally 9 pages, looks to be pretty much agreed upon as a bad idea. So... yeah.. very few people if anyone is saying that.

Now... Just knock it off. You shouldn't be able to gain a meter by using a wakeup move. viability or theory fighting aside. You shouldn't be able to do that. period. Stop pretending you should be able to.

Stop comparing it to ermac. Kung Lao doesn't get three full bars for combo'ing you once.

Lastly, NRS confirmed that they have taken steps to remove this from the game. Any argument in favor of letting people use this is ridiculous. the end.

I mean what else are you going to do? Get hit on purpose? Anyway I'm out.

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
LOL. Kung Lao getting a ban would suck so much for Perfect Legend appearances...just one more thing holding him down.

Um.... dude..... did you read the thread title? He did make the thread...
I did read the thread title... it asks a question. Did you read the thread title?

I don't think it's fair to flame the testers. But it is fair to flame NRS for their selection of testers.

Let's be serious... if NRS apporached you and asked you to test a new MK game which meant early access to it, how many of you would say, "oh, no thanks. I'm not qualified to do that." Zero of you would respond that way. Everyone would be like, "hell yeah that sounds awesome!"

Unfortunately, being well versed in data collection, trial analysis, willingness to do mind numbing tasks over and over and over until results are a certainty, recommendations based on the results, etc... took a back seat to, "oh, well that guy was good at MK9."

The resulting game that's an absolute mess shouldn't be surprising.

There goes the theory that this doesn't completely break the game, pl gets knocked down with 2 bars, wake up tele gives 3, that's a free fucking super
And during all that time he held onto all that meter when he coulda been using it for a varieity of converts & defensive moves. Looking forward to this getting patched out but this is not close to as gamebreaking as Spectral Ermac.
