Sigh, it looks like bugs that make characters too good are addressed, but the ones that make characters bad (like magic whiffing for Shinnok and Jackie moves) don't get the attention. Sigh indeed... sigh...

We had the same decision to make at NWM. This is a tough spot for any TO to be In and I support @Rocksteady 100%. I challenge a Kung Lao to win with this because even with it they haven't done shit.

Prob because not many knew about it and haven't fleshed it out. It definitely has its uses. Especially against characters that knock you down far away.

But yes, I am happy. Exploiting glitches is never ok and it would have really sucked to see Lao banned. Justice was served on this day.

so i tested this out on the pc version which isn't patched yet and this still exists. so KL players have have been doing this subconsciously and haven't done shit still. no reason to ban it.

trust me its there. if you really want to see for yourself you can delete all your mkx data and unplug your shit from the internet and test it out. guarantee you this still happens. unless for whatever reason this only happens on the pc version and the current version on consoles but that would jsut be silly

Im not denying it. Just saying I have nevet had this glitch happen to me and I look at my meter all the time.

Banning Kung Lao was the only other option available. You think that option is less damaging? Kung Lao isn't banned, and they didn't even say the glitch can't be used. They just said it will be monitored and cannot be abused.

I'm not sure what you expect.

I do use hatgrinder when I get knocked down full screen. I throw out a hat when the opponent thinks he can run in on me for free. Rarely use it though

Paulo already confirmed its been in the game since pre release just people were to focused on crying about other shit to notice.

Ermac wasn't banned, it was just one variation. While yes variations make characters very different, they could still play Ermac. This is an entire character we're talking about here, not just one variation. Huge difference.

Although to be fair, a lot of people here wanted to wait and see with spectral ermac rather than an immediate ban. At least from some of the posts I've read.

If someone won their match with an unbreakable move (X-ray) that they should not have even had enough meter for, I feel that would be a very easy decision by the judge hahah
