The final roster gonna be bigger than armageddon according to all those leaks. Everyone of the universe has been leaked or teased somehow and ppl keep discussing this bs. Reiko, Havik, Hotaru, Nitara, Ashrah, Takeda, Ermac, Reptile, Quan Chi, Shinnok, Mileena, Khrome even the fucking Motaro. Those are the some names that i saw on subreddit. Now it is Hydro's turn, which means Cyber Sub-Zero imo but no way. Do you really think they gonna release another blue cyborg? Wash your head in cold water, keep playing the game and don't fuck your brain while reading the stupid leaks.

Just wanted to spread some joy and hopefully people can see that NRS is far from the worst, actually even with their flaws the best at revealing upcoming DLC content and keeping rumours alive with teases and steady flow of information as well as releasing DLC characters rather quickly compared to others. Look at SF and Dragonball Fighterz, crazy long silences, not knowing who's in a pack (DBF), releasing them a year from now (SFV) or just months between characters with a 10 second clip without a release date (DBF).

Guys, this is what I have from the last few days: 3 characters to be announced soon,my friend told me not to tell anyone since August and that an announcement will be made in September, after which I will be able to tell you which discord it is, so you can go there yourselves. But it's just been soo loong.... Story mode should come too, he is unsure. Not sure if my guy is dvd center or if he's on that discord, but I don't think so, cause dd center has said Havik and Reiko are in another pack and my guy says they're not happening (sorry, Havik fans, I know I am one of them). Some things line up though:

only stuff 100% right and correct so far, is that something MK11 related will be announced anytime during this month, and will be something new, regarding DLC, rsrsrsr

what will gonna be ? what will end up happening ? :p

well, let's wait and see, until there, none of these bs rumour, gossip and trollism from youtube, reddit, 4chan, twitter etc have to be taken serious ..... will wait for the official statement from NRS and\or Ed Boon himself ;)

Wasn’t it confirmed there won’t be anymore story DLC for this game tho? Idk sounds suspicious personally

I don't see anything in that conversation that leads me to believe things are lining up or believing your source to be honest and a September announcement was an educated guess anyone could've made. As soon as the last pack date was October, it made sense to hear in September about something that would release in October / November at the earliest. Havik to me still makes a lot of sense, his assist has finally been removed and assist has always meant that a character would not be in, so the fact that Havik was meant to have an assist but they wanted it removed and now did, really increases his chances.

This. If they don't plan to make him DLC, why the fuck did they remove his assist? It makes no sense.

Yeah that reason alone makes Havik super super likely. Enchantress had the same thing I think

Also another three character pack seems odd since there’s 8 more slots in the files. Unless we get a five character pack later? I just think 4 and 4 would make more sense

Warner is pretty much pressuring NRS to not disclose anything regarding future content for MK11 because they want to focus on marketing next-gen games and it's making the devs pretty annoyed (that's why they're resorting to stuff like teasing a tease and tweeting about hot dogs). But there IS more stuff being developed aside from extra skins. Some of it has been datamined already so a patch has been released on PC to minimize leaks.

For starters Sektor and Cyrax really are coming (as you can see already). They will be the last Aftermath update after the skin packs and will be free for Aftermath holders, but also available for other players in the krystal shop (2500 krystals for each) or as a bundle. Kombat Pack 2 will be revealed after that. I really shouldn't be spilling all the beans so to make speculation fun I'll list 8 characters, only four of them are getting in: Havik, Mileena, Darrius, Reiko, Michael Myers, Smoke, Argus, Ash Williams. It's probably not who you think.

Chunks of meat and Test Your X have already been found by dataminers (and NRS does keep up with what dataminers find) so it shouldn't be a surprise that these will be included in the KP2 update. The Test Your X modes are mostly for fun and matches with them will be incorporated in Towers of Time. Chunks of meat relate to the upcoming Krypt expansion. New areas of the Krypt will be added with gear for DLC characters and from past Kombat League seasons. The KL skins can only be found in chests that you open with chunks of meat, and you can collect those by killing spiders, blindfold demons, Reptile and some new monsters in the new areas. There will be only KL skins from at least four seasons past the current one, because NRS doesn't want people to stop playing KL altogether.[/QUOTE]
