"Kombat" Copy Cat

I always wondered about the legality of using the term "Kombat" for another game.
I wonder if someone could still get away with it. They really used to copy a lot of things in fighters that were really shady back in the 90s. I thought laws were a bit more strict these days, but after watching "The Terminators" I swear it all comes down to which judge you get on which day.


If you can't figure out that this is copyright infringement, then I don't know what is.
