can't wait! love this game
Yep, that's fake. It's been around for quite some time already. A fan wanted to show other people how he pictured the Season 3 character choices mood, and put these plans together, choosing some stage arts and brief story for each also. Gargos on the left, Tusk in the middle, Kim Wu right next to him with the nunchakus, Rash, Eyedoll, and that girl on extreme right is supposed to be a Shadow Orchid (yes, like Shadow Jago, but wielding some cross sai-like weapons). I thought it was really nice, but still, fake.Isn't that fake though?
Kung Jin confirmed
Sorry to hear you don't like the game. Season 2 is awesome (did you watch the Evo Top 8?), and I can't wait to see what they do for S3. Tusk is my most anticipated characters going forward. Him and Gargos that is.I loved playing Battletoads back in the day and KI was my favorite game hands down. But I must admit, KI has gone downhill ever since that whole Amazon thing happened. Combo was my favorite character in the previous games and they made him look so weird in the new KI. Also, every character they've added just hasn't come out right...the game looks weird and I'm glad I sold my XBONE early on and got a PS4 w/ MKX. That said, i think the online for KI and the fluidity of the game is amazing but the design is just too much.
unsold. )=Mick Gordon confirmed he won't be coming back for Season 3
Wha...wha...WHAT??? When?Mick Gordon confirmed he won't be coming back for Season 3
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little freaked out at the change. Gordon is seriously, hands down, the heart and soul of the music of this game, and it is impossible to replace him. I too hope the 2 composers can be as diverse as he was, and I'm looking forward to track two just to see how different it is.http://www.ultra-combo.com/introducing-atlas-plus-celldweller-composers-for-season-3/
I'm pretty familiar with Celldwller. Hard to describe his music, industrial-electro-rock is probably what I'd call it but the kids these days probably have a name for it. Just hoping he can be as varied and as good as Mick was and not have an electronic base for each character. The Orchid, Maya, Spinal and Hisako themes are the best because of the vocals and experimentation going from Dancepop to Jungle Dance to Metal to Goth Rock.....
I just don't see it. And I know that's probably me hating, but seriously, the body of work Mick put together for this was nothing short of legendary. Calling in real hip hop artists and metal guitarists, visiting tibetan temples, getting rooms full of fans to chant actual native american war crys.I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little freaked out at the change. Did Mick have any real misfires? Fulgore Aganos and Kan Ra are all bland themes but even then it's miles above anything else in video games and 95pc of music in general.I just don't see it. I just don't see two random electronica composers doing it. Maybe they've got some good tracks in them (lord knows Mick had a few misfires) but I just don't see the kind of sound this product was built on purveying with his departure. Sad really, but KI3 has had a rough go of it since day one. That it came out as good as it has is already some sort of miracle.
I don't think any musical "taste" could claim to honestly enjoy ALL tracks across both seasons. I certainly have a few that I will never listen to again.Did Mick have any real misfires? I don't think the concern is that KI's OST will take a huge nose dive in quality (it certainly isn't mine). I just feel like the magic, what really made it stand out from every other game is leaving with Mick.Compare it to the music in NRS games since MKA....MK9 had a few decent tunes but nothing on KI OST levels
