Killer Instinct Season 3 Announced for March 2016 for Xbone & PC: Rash from Battletoads Guest Stars!

In case you some how missed it, Season 3 for Killer Instinct was officially announced today at gamecon 2015. Not only that, but Season 3 is coming to Xbox One AND PC, with cross play & stick/controller compatibility. Also confirmed is guest characters for S3 & starting today, you can play as Rash from Battletoads until September 8th!! (This is how you can access him for free HERE)

"To say that we are excited is a complete understatement, but it is the most appropriate word to use for now. By now you’ve heard that Season 3 of Killer Instinct is coming March 2016, and you can get your first look at what’s to come starting TODAY!

I’m proud to announce that Killer Instinct Season 3 is coming March 2016 to Xbox One AND Windows 10!

If you own KI today, you’ll own it on Windows. And all your content, progress, achievements and friends come with you.

We are supporting cross platform play; and on Windows ALL of your controllers and fight sticks will work.

I am also excited to announce that Killer Instinct will feature guest characters, and that KI and Rare Replay players can get a sneak peek of Rash from Battletoads – coming TODAY!

i happy for season 3 but honest what is it with people wanted battle toads in KI? i honestly dont get it.. dont get me wrong.. i completely happy for those that wanted it , they been pleading for it hard so they deserve it & i know they are prob going nuts in the ultra-combo forums but i mean .. i just think its very out of place.. even for a guest character ,

Not at all really. KI is a Rare property, and so is Battle Toads. It is an unexpected choice, but it makes perfect sense. I just hope they make accessories to have the other 2 Toads in when S3 officially launches.
