Killer Instinct coming to PC

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced at E3 that Killer Instinct is coming to PC with cross-platform play.


As of right now, Killer Instinct is only available for the Xbox One. No release date for the PC version was given.

Not true at all, the reason fighters on PC tend to die quickly is because they either get a version of the game hella late after the initial console release, or they get a buggy port (MK9, Injustice, MKX).

I only own a PS4 because of MKX, if NRS was handling the PC version or if it had cross platform play, I would've never bought a PS4.

This is great for those of us not interested in shelling out hundreds of dollars for a console to play a single game.

-edit- Also, I think you overlooked the cross-platform aspect, if there's only 20 people online when you're playing KI on PC, the game also died on Xbox, lol.

I'm glad for pc gamers but I don't really play this game anymore since most second season and season 1 chars nullify Glacius gameplay.

He suffers from way too many bad MUs I just gave up on this game.

This is where the greatness comes. Like SFV, this game will have cross-platform play. So who cares if most players on PC suck or drop off due to ADHD. We now can play an entire Xbox audience as well, largely increasing the player pool. This is great news. Only thing I'm worried about is how can we purchase it, hopefully not on GFWL 2.0.

Personally, I think the game is a lot of fun and much better than MKX. I do like season 1 characters a lot more than those from season 2.

The game is fun but Maining Glacius is an uphill battle, most season 2 chars nullify his meta.
