Kabal's New Anti-Jax Tech by Doctrine Dark

Today, REO made a video showcasing a great new tech for Kabal players when fighing against Jax. It is called the "Anti-Jax Tech". This tech was found by DoctrineDark , the Kabal master from Chile and if you want a taste for DoctrineDark's Kabal, just click here to see his latest Kabal combo video. What this tech does is cancer out Jax's dash punch and other moves that would threaten the Kabal player's game. Check out the video as REO tells you about it and demonstrates why this tech is a Win/Win for Kabal.

this is an old tech !.I use D4 into EX ohs with jax. with Stryker I like to do this : meaty D4 into EX button sweep(or whatever the name is ) if they wake up attack they eat the Ex move and I continue pressure with dash in D3 to force them to stand and start the mix up that lead to a knockdown :)
If they stand and block the D4 won't hit and the button sweep won't come out .
A lot of chars can do D4 OS EX specials to beat wakeups :).

I was thinking the same thing.

However, Rain might have a harder time dealing with Jax in the overall match.

I agree,

Armored moves can deny wake up's but I don't think that's the intention of this video.

Stryker (as mentioned) can armor through wake ups for a knock down and perhaps make him safe on block but what advantage does he really have? D3 to make an opponent stand is a good option but Stryker doesn't really have the winning rush down game when compared to Jax.

As REO demonstrated, Kabal can deny armored wake ups and punish them with a full combo / re-set or (if blocked) continue pressure with EX Dash which makes him positive for additional block string pressure. With this tech, Kabal can put himself in a good position to shut down Jaxs' armored attacks and wake up game.

Solid tech IMHO, great job DoctrineDark & REO!

Skarlet could do the same thing. D4 xx Ex Dash, then whatever you want. This will definitely be on my mind in Jax matches. Thanks REO :)

so basically everytime kabal knocks jax down he is gonna have to WASTE a meter to safely put pressure when i do a wake up attack? lol i like that.btw i still think kabal beats jax 6-4 and that will never change unless kabal gets nerfed.kabal can do something WAYYYYYY worst than this that makes the mu impossible to win unless jax has a big lead which i wont say because i can only beat reos kabal with jax and i dont want to risk it.ill tell REO what it is if swears not to use cage on me ever again in tourney
