Brackets will be generated RANDOMLY. The top 8 players (4 players for MK) based on past performance will be given seeds. Also, if you are traveling out of state, then you will be given priority as to not face someone you traveled with 1st and 2nd round. IF TRAVELING OUT OF STATE, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY TO LET US KNOW ABOUT WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU CAME FROM BEFORE WE START THE TOURNAMENT. Also, players on same teams or sponsorships will not be given priority in the bracket. We will not make sure that you guys avoid each other. Remember the brackets will be generated randomly outside of the seeds and out of state players. The tournaments that the seeds are based on is the CF AE tournament, GC14, GC15, and SNS. If those 4 players make it to top 8, then on the winners side, it should be number 1 seed vs number 4 seed and number 2 seed vs number 3 seed. Here are the current rankings and the formula used to come up with this:

Everyone read this and pass this information along to anyone who may be unaware of this...

Just a reminder that AE starts at 6 and we will have more than just the 3 cabinets to run AE on. We will also be running AE on Console so if you are participating in AE, then you need to BRING YOUR OWN STICK or CONTROLLER. If you don't bring one and we call your match on a console setup, Next Level has controllers (both pads and sticks) for rent at $2 for the whole day that you will have to rent. We will not delay matches because you are waiting for a controller that you let your friend use.

Also MVC3 starts at 7 and MK starts at 8 so be sure you are on time for that. We will be utilizing as many TVs as possible for the whole tournament so dont show up an hour late and expect to still be put in the bracket.

Remember that WIRELESS CONTROLLERS ARE BANNED. If we see you attempt to sync a wireless controller to an xbox that day, you risk being DQ'd and/or being asked to leave the venue. We do not want people walking around with synced controllers which can lead to a button being pressed and ruining a match in progress or having issues with controllers ports not being recognized properly. Just leave all wireless controllers at home and make sure its a wired controller or you can rent a wired controller from Next Level for $2 for the whole day.

Last thing is people disappearing. We will be starting on time and will be using as many TVs as possible so we can run through everything at a steady pace. Not everyone can stay here until 2am so we need to run through things quickly. IF YOU ARE NOT AROUND WHEN YOUR MATCH IS CALLED, YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOU ARE GIVEN A LOSS and either be sent to loser's bracket or eliminated from the tournament, depending on which bracket you are in. I will have a stopwatch on the computer im using to run brackets on and will DQ people on the spot if you arent around after 5 minutes. We won't be delaying the tournament this time around.

Oh yeah, and THE VENUE FEE IS PAID BY ALL PEOPLE WHO ENTER THE STORE (TOURNAMENT KOMBATANTS AND SPEKTATORS)

Hope everyone understands why we have to be so strict and I look forward to seeing you all there.
