Jump-in properties... -_-.

Fought a raven today, didn't know her 1 jump-in is+22 on block , couldn't do anything. Which leads to this.... why do jump-ins on this game feel retarded? Certain jump-ins are + while others are - on block. Why is Lobo -10 on a jumping 2 while grundy's 2 is +33 on BLOCK? This also leads to another question... why is it that when you land a jumping 2 if you start with a high (e.g Batmans 1) it'll whiff? IMO that's something that needs to be fixed. It doesn't make any sense that i have to know which jump-in is + or - on block and i shouldn't have to limit my combos because the game wants to have sluggish hitboxes

Really? That seems like basic stuff to me. I'm pretty sure some jumps are advantageous on block to allow for more setups like tick throws, but other jumping attacks are - on block because you're supposed to cancel them into strings.

Some of those advantageous jumping attacks are really tough to hit with, too. I know Doomsday's jumping 2 has a difficult timing to hit a grounded opponent with, but it's +20 some frames on block.

it wasn't in MK,SF, or any other fighting game. it doesn't make any sense... its bad enough that jump-ins aren't that punishable but i cant do anything? lol... -10 on a jump-in is illogical...

Wasn't what in MK, SF? Can you clarify? You can just string in a neutral or advantageous string from your jumping attack anyway.

If you input your next string while still in the air, your jump in attack will immediately cancel into it. You're only really -10 on those jump ins if you do them naked.

The reality of a negetive jump in is alot of the frame data is wrong.. 2nd no grundy player should ever be able to jump in on you because he has some of the slowest jump ins in this game period.. 3rd being a shazam player I have jumped in on tons of blocking oppointants including the 2 best aa characters in the game in green lantern & aquafag and stuff they ground reversal with f+223 btw shazams j2 is hella negetive on block.. The best option a cross up jump is to forward dash.. If they are jump spamming just aa with your fastest jump attack and convert off it
