Hey guys!

So The Kombat Tether was recently invited to a Mortal Kombat X event in London. They were able to get hands on with Johnny Cage and his variations!

Here is a collection of Cage findings, and I'll provide a link to their full article below:






JOHNNY CAGE VARIATIONS



Fisticuffs: (Gold 'CAGE' knuckle-dusters)
Adds Fist Bump and Flashy combos and normal attacks.

Stunt Double: (Green tinted sunglasses)
Adds the ability to create Stunt Double Mimic moves.

A-List: (Black forearm bandages)
Can Charge Normal and Special moves for increased damage.

SELECT SCREEN ANIMATIONS
  • Johnny makes a camera frame gesture with his hands at the opponent and says 'Erm... No!"
  • As the characters walk away from one another, Johnny shouts "Call me!"
UNIVERSAL SPECIALS
  • Low Forceball
  • High Forceball
  • Nut Breaker
  • Shadow Kick
  • Rising Kick

Universal specials: flash kick and nut punch

A-list: lets him charge certain moves for more damage, sounds interesting

Fisticuffs: brass knuckles and a fist bump move which amps up his moves

Stunt double: changes fireball to horizontal and allows a mimic to do specials for him, sounds like noob saibot or kenshi, this one strikes me because he'll also have nut punch and it is zoning based it seems
