Question Ji3 levitate accidents. (Hitbox)

So I am a fan of the multitude of tools this toon has. However almost every time I try to do a jump in 3, even during easy combos, I get a levitate cancel.

The input coming from a hitbox, f,uf,u,3
I have found its really quite hard not to get the extra inputs, and wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue, on a hitbox or otherwise?
If so, what have you done to stop this levitate error?

Example easy combo:: 1,1,2~bf+1(mb) ji3,1,1,2~bf+2
Or what ever ender you want. It's the jump 3 >.<

Simple, hold down before inputting the 3. I had this same exact problem, and this fixes it.

I practiced reading backwards when I in middle school, so this isn't a problem for me to read. lol
