Question Issue with MB and trait

I appear to be having an issue online where my specials will not MB unless I mash the button, same goes for trait. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

double tap mb when you see Flash's leg hit the opponent - works for me
when you confirm mb LK has hit, hold in trait until you see it start to activate - then go to town!

It happens to me online only and I have no clue as to why it is just with The Flash, it's extremely frustrating.

when i do b13, trait, lantern's might with GL online, I do the input for lantern's might twice. So like b13 Trait, db1, db1. Seems to work pretty consistently, unless the connection is really bad.
