If 18 frames is reactable then Kung Jin doesn't have a 50/50.
That's over a quarter of a second.If 18 frames is reactable then Kung Jin doesn't have a 50/50.
Where Dacidbro when you need himBwahahahaha.
Man, I missed the "everything is reactable" aspect of TYM. We haven't heard much of it in MKX. Glad TYM's ninja reflexes are back.
Such as what?
The fighters and all their moves run at 30 fps smart guy. The background runs at 60. Reacting to 18 frames isn't as hard as you're making it out to be.18 frames... in a 60fps game. Reactable. Yeaaaahp.

Couldn't agree more. I play mainly Buzzsaw but B2 / low hat don't make up for the damage potential of tempest. He does have some nice Setups, but again, spending meter for <30% damage doesn't seem worth it.Tempest is the way to win.
Buzzsaw/Hat Trick is the way to have fun.
This literally makes no sense. Are you trying to say at any given 2 frames the characters disappear for a frame? Even if they hypothetically did, less visible frames would make it harder to react ya fuckin' numbnuts. The fighters and all their moves run at 30 fps smart guy. The background runs at 60. Reacting to 18 frames isn't as hard as you're making it out to be.
I'm pretty sure he fucked up and meant to say 60.15:20
Stop.
The average reaction time of a dork is is .25 seconds wich is equivalent to 15 frames, so yes it's possible for a dork to react to 15 frames.if any of you dorks react as fast as you say you do you would never get hit by anything or lose
Does that seem reasonable?
That is just raw twitch-reaction time. It is actually easier to get even faster than that. The average reaction time of a dork is is .25 seconds wich is equivalent to 15 frames, so yes it's possible for a dork to react to 15 frames.
I'm on mobile right now so I can't test my dorky reaction time but I do agree with you that reacting to something in game is harder than twitch reacting, if that's what you were getting at.That is just raw twitch-reaction time. It is actually easier to get even faster than that.

Try the above reaction test and then tell me that reacting to a 15 frame move is possible.
I don't understand by what you mean by scouting. Usually when someone says they are scouting, they are actively looking out for the specific move in question, thus usually reading the opponent to be in the mindset of throwing out the fireball. Could you clarify?I'm on mobile right now so I can't test my dorky reaction time but I do agree with you that reacting to something in game is harder than twitch reacting, if that's what you were getting at.

Edit: This wasn't a read, I scouted the fireball.
Ah ok, yeah I was reading that the opponent would do a fireball but ultimately it came down to me reacting to the fireball, I would never do a Shadow Windkick solely on a read, I have to see the move come out, then I will react accordingly.I don't understand by what you mean by scouting.
