Malik is not wrong here at all.

If you ask me, I personally don't think Scorpion is a problem. But I will admit that we don't have a dedicated Scorpion in SoCal, so I am open minded to him being ridiculous.

What I'm not open minded about is people creating ridiculous threads and threats about quitting to ban a character I haven't even personally got a chance to play against. As a top player, this is one of the most insulting things to happen to our community.

You don't ban a character because of a local tournament, never mind a charity stream.

CEO and Evo will be the tournaments that ultimately will show us the games true results. Just let it happen, and believe me I will be behind you if he needs to be fixed.

I'm definitely not going to say he can't be a huge problem in this game, I just like seeing it in action is all. PL is using scorpion at CEO, so if he goes to work on ppl, then heck i'll admit that he is a real issue. PL just won a local with scorpion/ southeast majors was won by a scorp too lol, maybe the scorpion reign is beginning.

Still think it way too early to say this. Early wesker in ultimate marvel was so dominating but about 6 months into it you started to see anchor wesker die off. I've watched as tactics and moves that were too fast to block became blockable by relatively average players. Hell the tekken guys react to 10-12 frame throws. They are able to see which hand is coming out first and hit the correct button. Its entirely possible to block and punish a whiff.
