Injustice @ PAX East - Interview w/ Hector: A Street Fighter player's concerns

I wish people would stop saying "Oh this is like Mk, or its like SF or it has pokes like tekken or you cant attack in the middle of a dash like MvC" Stop comparing it to other games because its not like other games. It will be a fun great game that you should get...that is all you need to know.

Except it can be compared to other games, and it should because that's how it's going to attract players from other communities as well as proving it has fundamental footing of some sort. you think if they came out and said "HEY THIS GAME PLAYS LIKE NOTHING ELSE, THROW ALL YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE FROM OTHER FIGHTERS OUT THE WINDOW" people are gonna come running with $60 in hand?

Sorry lemme rephrase.. I dont like it when people compare things they dont like about a game to this game.
