Hmmm screenshots confirm the ninjas from the League of Assassins are in Origins. I'd guess that these are related to Shiva but could Ra's/Talia possibly be in? It's unlikely but ya never know.

Yep, I saw that awhile ago, it doesn't show too much, but now we know one of them is Firefly.

So, the Joker doesn't count as one of the assassins, is that right?

I hope the 8 assassins are:
- Deathstroke
- Deadshot
- Copperhead
- Bane
- Firefly
- Killer Croc


I think the last picture shown could easily be Lady Shiva.
As assassins or just in it however:
- The Joker
- The Penguin
- Mr. Freeze
- Scarecrow?

I'm guessing that villains like Freeze and Ivy are just way to big for the game and won't be in. My guesses are Croc and Scrarecrow for sidemissions with Shiva, KGBeast, and someone else as the last assassin. Joker's probably not an assassin but seems to be a huge part of the story. Penguin's not an assassin and after I said that he'll probably be just a cameo the trailer analysis of the Gamecon trailer proves me wrong. Penguin's watching Batman fight Deathstroke so perhaps Penguin's an ally to Black Mask? He isn't an assassin though.

Yeah, let me redo that:

8 Assassins:
- Deathstroke
- Deadshot
- Bane
- Copperhead
- Firefly
- Lady Shiva or Talia Al Ghul
- KGBeast
- ???

Characters for side quests or (like The Joker) apart of the main story just not one of the 8 assassins:
- The Joker
- The Penguin
- The Mad Hatter
- Anarky
- Black Mask

Analysis of likelyhood for villains to be in Origins-
Harley Quinn-Not very likely at all. Joker seems to be working alone but maybe she'll be DLC for Multiplayer? Who knows.
Zsasz-In-between. Not seeing a lot of reason for him to be in but the side-mission roster needs to be filled out so who knows. I don't think he'll be in though but I'm possibly wrong on this one.
Killer Croc-Very likely. That poster with Joker and Deadshot on it seems to be surprisingly accurate plus he makes a good side-mission candidate. Not to mention another rumor emerged with him and Firefly and Firefly's confirmed. Really expecting him to be in.
Poison Ivy-Not very likely. Ivy's just WAY to big for a side mission IMHO and I just don't see her fitting Origins' tone.
Scarecrow-Likely. Was on the poster with Joker and Deadshot and could fit a side mission well. Only thing is that Mad Hatter's getting the weirdo level job but who knows. Seems likely but the thing with Mad Hatter makes me hesitant.
Riddler-In between. Not sure if Riddler would be used again but I did hear that someone saw a riddler trophy on a poster. He'd fit a side mission well but.....eh. Not to sold on him being back.
Clayface-Not likely. Like Ivy, Clayface is just WAY to big to be used but I guess he'd fit a side mission ok-ish. Only thing is that Arkham City sets him up as a post-Robin villain. Not to sold on him being back and it doesn't seem likely.

Catwoman-Disconfirmed. Won't be in the game. Will be in Blackgate though.

Agree for the most part, but Harley could be in, we know she's already a thing (people know of her, name is written on the Blackgate prison wall).
Zsasz I don't think will be in, I hope he's not either.
Killer Croc has really high chances.
Poison Ivy won't be in probably, which is unfortunate but I agree, wouldn't fit in well.
Scarecrow has really high chances.
Riddler... not sure.
Clayface probably won't be in.
Mr. Freeze won't be most likely, but could be..
Catwoman and Two-Face no, Catwoman will be in Blackgate Vita/3DS game though.

So yeah... Croc and Scarecrow will be in most likely.

Hugo Strange-Pretty damn unlikely. Unless this game shatters continuity, Hugo won't be in. Ref at best.
Talia-Possible. After seeing the screen shot of the League of Assassin Ninjas she MIGHT be in. Can't safely say that she's certainly not in this at all.
Calendar Man-Possible. Seeing how it's a holiday in game it'd be a damn good opportunity to use Calendar Man. He'd fit a side mission well.
Ra's Al Ghul-Not likely. The League of Assassins'll be in this game but I don't see Ra's being in. He's WAY to big for the game to use. I'm expecting refs to him though.
Solomon Grundy-Unlikely. Again unless the game breaks continuity he won't be in. Ref perhaps.
Hush-VERY unlikely. Same reasons as Hugo and Grundy. Would be continuity breaking. Ref at best.

Harley-Eh Joker seems to be alone. Wouldn't put it past them to make her multiplayer DLC kind of like how the Transformer games got Dinobot and Insecticon DLC classes.
Zsasz-Yeah I agree with you. I'm pretty sick of him but he's easy to make a side mission out of.
Killer Croc-Yep, I really hope Croc's in. His side mission could be amazing. Imagine Batman's first encounter with Croc. Makes me nerdgasm.
Poison Ivy-Yeah sorry dude but I just don't see her as being in this.
Scarecrow-Yeah he's likely but I'm wondering how they'll do his boss fight because Hatter's stolen the crazy level.
Riddler-Riddler to me is the BIGGEST puzzle ATM. Not sure where to fall with him.

Mr.Freeze-I'd be eh if Freeze was in. I just feel that he's to complex for a side mission.

The biggest thing I want is for more playable characters offline... it really bugs me that it's gonna be difficult to play as Joker or Bane once multiplayer dies.
Or even before that it will be a bit rare.
