Short list considering DOA5 Ultimate (which did add some new stuff over DOA5) and Tekken Revolution came out this year too. And probably some Anime fighter, but I don't expect that to appear on IGN.

I vote for Injustice but its not that I don't think KI should be up there. All the balance patches injustice got pissed me off but so far it has produced results in tournaments and KI just came out last month. I think KI should be nominated for 2014 when we have all the other characters available for download and the game is "complete". That's just my opinion.

To me Killer Instinct is the best of the 3 listed, however, it is not a complete game. On that principle alone they shouldn't have included it in the poll. Injustice is a complete game and has been around longer with a well established tournament scene. I don't like injustice at all so i was compelled to vote for killer instinct. It's easily the best fighting game I've played in a really long time.
