I don't remember anyone promising that, nor do I see any guarantee that this is it as far as DLC is concerned.

If this is real, it looks like 3 of the silhouettes are generic placeholders and the 4th is giving you an incomplete clue as to who it is.

lemme answer to some posts lol - I was thinking the same thing also - looks like only 1 of them is like a clue-ish sillouette and the others are just generic - and also if u notice it is like seperated from the others.

This can't be all of the DLC, Boon said there was a New 52 Green Lantern skin. Considering the fact that Superman's, Batman's and Wonder Woman's are all DLC, wouldn't his be as well?

Plus, there's still the walmart MKDC and Batman AA costumes DLC, Best Buy Blackest Night pack and zombie mode too. So you'd have to think at some point they make them available for DLC.

dlc is more for us who take the game serious like I said. I'm not being a jerk or an elitist at all, and I understand most of their money comes from casual fans which is fine. But most dlc unless purchased early like this will not come from casuals. Most of the people who registered on this site in the last two months won't be playing or around Tym once dlc starts dropping.

I didn't even like/play Scarlet, Kenshi, or Rain.


The game just doesn't feel complete if I'm missing characters.

Walmart comes with a copy of MKvsDC, the game for free, not skins for Injustice.

For starters, you're underselling it. Maybe you think that costumes just happen if you lock 5 team members in a closet with a copy of the code, but they don't. Or do you really think its just coincidence that most studios have abandoned the practice of alternate costumes entirely?

Second, if NRS says they're putting Professor Zoom in the game, I don't want a shitty hack job. That shit flies in machinima videos or some free pc mod, but not when you're asking animators and modelers and game designers to sign their name and say "this is the best Cheetah I can do".

Lastly, and I'm talking to you as an actual player here, can you honestly say you would rather NRS waste however much effort on costumes characters over real characters? Even if you believe the delusion that somehow alts just happen without causing any expense to any other work or requiring the entire teams attention, do you really want Injustice's DC plan to include turning it into one of those awful DBZ games with 50 characters that are really only 5 characters?

IMO, if you wanna play dress up thats one thing, I love costumes. 60s Batman, JLord Superman, even Joker with the goofy Killing Joke Red Hood, fine, but slapping a pair of tits on Superman and calling it Powergirl is an insult to both Superman and Powergirl fans if u ask me

You're late to the party. There's a thread on this somewhere but it's obviously been buried because of the lack of participation/progress.

I don't believe I'm underselling it, do you think it takes nearly the amount of work of 3 alt costumes opposed to 1 new character? There's so much work and man hours that go into a character whereas an alt is just an adjustment of some things. I'm not saying they could crank out 5 alts in a weekend, I'm just saying that they could easily devote some time to giving people their favorite characters in the game. Other companies abandoned it because these costumes offer nothing beyond aesthetics and people don't wanna pay 5 bucks simply to have characters in a kimono or something. These would be iconic characters that people love as opposed to Superman simply dressed as Clark Kent in some Alt pack.


Hack job? Why would there be a hack job? Why couldn't they do 1 week for Alts, 6 weeks for the next character, 1 week for Alts, 6 weeks for the next character, etc........Over two months you could have a new character and like 6 full alts instead of just devoting the next 4-6 months to just giving new characters and having fans know they'll never be able to play with a Zoom or the like because they'd simply be too similar to a character already in


As a player, and someone that has seen their work in MK, I have no reason to believe that them developing Alts would make them rush out characters or anything of the sort. And these "real" characters may be ones that I'll never pick up as a serious character so why would I care about said character at that point? You're coming from a "competitive gamer" standpoint whereas I'm coming from a "DC fighter" standpoint in that they could appease the fans that love Speedy but will never see Speedy in this game but putting him (or her) as a Green Arrow alt. BTW, they've been developing a ton of Alts alongside characters and no character is "suffering" or anything from it.



Dude, Powergirl is extreeeemmllyy similar to Superman so, instead of having her as one of the limited DLC/character spots, why not put her as an Alt for Superman and give that spot to someone with a more diverse moveset? This give people that want to play as Powergirl a way to do it without completely taking away a slot from someone with a vastly different moveset from anyone else in the game.

I -really- hope they actually give all of the DLC characters voices and such this time around. Getting iconic personalities across is super important to being a successful comic book licensed game, imo.
