If MK9 had a documentary like The Smash Bros.....

I see 16 Bit over Tyrant and Dizzy as Dr. Pee Pee and Mango were in the smash documentary.

No doubt an amazing player, very successful in tournament, but hasnt made as much of an impact on the scene as much as like say Mango has.

but thats just my opinion

Imo the documentary should consist of players who both have a character and skill. Perfect legend, Reo, Cd Jr, 16 bit, tom brady, are definitely a lock. Throwing in Curbolicious would definitely spice things up as well.

This is a great idea. I love the concept and everything. However, not to sound like a dick here... But why are so much of my accomplishments brushed under the rug and not listed? You have other players major wins up but you leave out me winning Final Round, CEO, Devastation, Toryuken, NEC, which all took place during the game's prime. You have other players notable feats up but do not list mine such as placing no less than TOP 3 for a year straight, winning THREE stacked majors BACK to BACK in a row, etc. etc.

It just really irritates me when people put half of my resume and accomplishments up. I'm getting tired of slowly becoming known as this player who just won MLG twice and did nothing else memorable.

Honestly, you've won so many tournaments it takes too long to list them all out lol.

There's is a huge difference though. The Smash scene's history is FAAAR bigger than MK9's. BUT if you were to make a documentary for ALL of MK games, I think that would be good.

I'd watch the shit out of it.

Seriously though, being advent fans of fighting games and movies/ documentaries, I would love to see this. I'd love to see more fighting game documentaries in general, and would really love if anyone could direct me to any good ones.

Actually if I was you, the one thing that would have bugged me is the "2x Top8 Evo" Wouldn't 2x 2nd place Evo be more accurate?

Just forgot. Obviously if something like this were to really happen the info would be more accurate.

Don't get me wrong Mortal Kombat is my favorite fighting game series for a reason but is it really popular enough to deserve a documentary?

If you look at the 3 years we had with mk, these are basically the storylines we had:

- Pl winning first evo, 16 bit first fatality on the evo stage
- The midwest vs VSM at Final round, VSM reo, cd jr, CD, maxter dominating the scene
- First MLG, Cd jr beats PL, Curbo bodying everyone out of nowhere
- MLG anaheim, PL gets his revenge on CD JR, other scenes stepping their game up against the EC, Denzell vs Tom brady+ CD jr vs Tyrant mirror
- Second Evo, The UK vs USA, PL defends his title
- Reo dominating MLG's, Denzell winning Evo

Then stop worrying about what people know you for and take pride in what you know you've accomplished.
