She could still use it to close distance full screen so she can't be zoned out.
Close and far leap already require defensive meter.

Getting a character gutted is never, and will never, be the right course of action. And yeah, they absolutely should make it to where every character has really good options like the top tier characters.
I don't want jacqui gutted. it's almost inevitable and i'm surprised nrs hasn't done it yet but I can't say I'm not jealous of how jacqui has been since day 1. I would truly like for good characters to remain good and for weaker characters to be uplifted to that level.
Not to mention, ALL of her variation moves only take up 1 variation stock. Like, that’s pretty insane considering how good they all are.

EXACTLY! I don’t care at all about all these top tiers, let them have their wild shit. But why aren’t we giving these other low to mid tier characters the same type of options and versatility? I’m ONLY okay with these top tiers having all these options that are insanely good if we give all these other lower characters similar very good options. And I think it’s absolutely doable. But again, this comes back to my larger point of how NRS handles the competitive community that I expressed in the other thread. It’s easier for them to nerf a few characters than it is for them to buff 20 characters. I personally don’t think it being easier should be a reason to go in that direction, but since NRS is a business, they’re going to take the shortest route possible to seemingly achieve the same thing. The issue is doing it that way just ends up creating more problems in the long run, which creates a never ending cycle of doing the same shit and expecting a different result.
