If you are gonna listen to black metal do NOT listen to Dimmu at least not new Dimmu.
They are a joke pretend black metal band that spit on the rest of Norway's scene in the early 90's. They have helped turn black metal into a joke, and helped America turn Black Metal into another fucking Mallcore trend, with fucking emo [ban incoming] wearing Gorgoroth shirts, and reading Revolver magazines. Fuck that shit, that is not black metal at all. Their shit sounds like a carousel going round and round with kids frolicking in laughter and cotton candy. Not Satans anthems.

Black Metal is about Hatred of everything, It should be void of life, their is no groove, there is no fun, their is no fucking compromises, just cold, straight forward, raw metal.
