Rain fans would actually be on suicide watch if this happened. This would be the biggest troll of all time.

I actually would not mind. Better to have one water character than no water at all, I guess. Besides, I appreciate surprises for DLC and characters whom we have never seen before (i.e., Skarlet in Mortal Kombat 9 and Tremor in Mortal Kombat X).

I'd rather have Rain, and would feel like this would be a kick in the nuts to Rain fans if a water person got in over him after all the Rain teases.


but I do like to see older Mk characters become canon . . . especially over any guest character.

If Rain is in MK11 though, then I'd actually want Hydro as DLC as think he'd be cool and would fight differently than Rain that it wouldnt seem like too any "water" characters. since Rain uses lightning and Hydro can freeze people.

Yeah I'd for sure take Rain over hydro as well, but thought it'd be a cool alternative to satiate those fans should rain not make it
