How long youve been playing UMK3 competitvely?

Never played competitively. Always just played for fun. When I start taking a game too seriously it seems to lose it's fun factor to me. I started to do that with Halo and it wasn't as fun anymore

Played MK II In my younger days. Played UMK3 in the arcades for a little bit when I was younger, but never competitively. MKT for PS1 with my family for a couple months. I started getting much better when It came out for 360, thats when I started learning more about the competition and the pros and the actual big scene.


EDIT- BTW Shock Twisted Metal for PSP is an almost perfect replica of TM2. It is so much fun and the nostalgia just pours in when you play. It's fun.

I participated in an MK3 (not UMK3) tourney when I was 11 when the game was in it's prime in the arcades, That's the only time I can think of being competitive per se. Until UMK3's release on the 360, of course.

I've always played the MK series casually however.
