How is this game SO DAMN LAGGY online?

I thought NRS nailed the online when they fixed MKX? Wtf happened with MK11?

I’ve put a ton of hours into every NRS game. And I feel like I’ve never had so many laggy matches in any of the other games. This is just ridiculous.

It’s so bad that I’m even seeing moves reverse themselves. This has happened to me quite a few times, but it seems to be getting worse more recently. What I mean is... I’ll land a hit, and even hear the hit sound (notably different from the block sound), but then the game quickly rubber bands into the opponent blocking instead. Similarly, I’ll block a love, hear the block sound, but get actually hit by it anyway.

Wtf is this shit? It’s getting extremely irritating.

Are a majority of the people you're playing on wifi or have high pings? This is why we need to advocate for wifi filters, HARD

I don't really know what's the deal. My overall experience in playing online MK11 is worse than it was in Injustice 2 or MKXL. But at the same time if I play the same people I played previous games - and connection there was good even for cross continent connections - it is still good in MK11. So maybe really it's just mix of no region lock and random people having bad connections? Ranked is swarmed by wifi people.
