How do you choose the last question mark when beating kahn?

Alright so I've been playing offline alot since I got my cabinet, and I forget what has to be done to pick the last question mark (supreme demonstration) of the choices when you beat the game. I THINK you have to play through the whole game on super master, and not continue once, but I dont remember exactly hehe. Either that or you have to use the same character all the way to the end but i'm pretty sure I did that at least once while messing around.

Someone just clarify. I didnt see it in the FAQs, might be something you wanna add somewhere.

1.1 - works in 1 player game too on master tower

Well its version 1.1

So I play on the master tower, with the 3player endurance match... and do what? Cause I beat it on that tower like 50 billion times, and still no last question mark. I do lose though. I switch characters sometimes too, so thats why I'm wondering if I have to doit without losing at all.
