So I just got my Q4RAF stick in. Previously I was using the PDP stick modded with IL parts.
First getting used to the new button layout. The buttons themselves feel much better than the IL buttons but adjusting to the new layout is going to take a bit. I have the first two columns as the standard 1234. The third column is grab on top and block on bottom. Fourth column is stance switch and tag neither of which I've ever used before.
So index and middle finger for the first two columns and ring finger for the third column.
Does that sound like what you guys use with this style of button layout?
Second the stick feels quite nice but I'm having some trouble. Sometimes I'll try and do a special and it won't come out. Most annoying thing however is when I'm on the left and I do a NJP and dash forward then press back+1 an ice clone seems to come out an awful lot instead of starting the combo. This doesn't happen when I'm on the right.
I've never played with a ball top stick before. Any advice on how to hold and move the stick?
