Have You Seen The Defense Bar Glitch?

Mods, feel free to assimilate this into any similar thread that may exist.

Something, in my estimation, is wrong the defensive bars and their regeneration.

There have been enough occasions that I've lost count, between Kombat League and the chatroom, that either my or my opponent's defense bars have regenerated from between no bar at all to one bar, all the way up to full defensive butter, in between rounds.
No explanation. No menu hint like the MK9 Toasty Boost that I can make out. Nothing. It just HAPPENS. And I have no earthly idea why.

I have canvassed other players and FB groups and am of the impression that this is not a figment of my imagination, and this is a growing potential problem that appears to be being completely blown off prior to EVO.

I am not a scientist.
I can only speak on what I know.
And I know this could be a real big issue.
So I'm collecting info.

If your defensive bar gets used up by the Last Breath (chip kill prevention) mechanic, it quickly regens between rounds.

Actually, the deffense bar dissapears completely if you use the last breath mechanic. At first I was like wth? Where's my bar? Then it reappears and quickly refills before the next round starts.
