Hardest Characters to play using a HITBOX/ HITBOX Discussion

Justice

Warrior
The only thing that's remotely difficult on a HitBox is 360/720 inputs which MKX doesn't have. Keep practicing. It will come :)

This is how I have it on my hitbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/68869363/Custom Hitbox Images/HitboxControlsLayout_MKX.png

But having problems doing kitana instant. Not used to it yet. Just tried today.
All tho, seems like different gamepads (I use chip from gamepad) have different specifications.

Like, Down and Up arrows tend to conflicts in different ways.

Hitbox and gamepad is different per characters. Work better for some, but gmaepad can be better for other.

Official Hitboxes (and any using a ps360+) have SOCDs (simultaneous opposite cardinal directions) built in so that things come out a certain way when Up/Down are both pressed, or left and right.

The instant air stuff in mk is a little odd at first because because you can't tiger knee the motions, ex. If you want a ia fireball with king in kof you end in up/back instead of back.. In mk I find i have succes with just hitting up then then fireball very quickly.

So if you hold down, and press up it will jump (while still holding down)?

In my case if I hold down, and then add up. It does to neutral. It negates each other.
My brother's gamepad, down has priority over up. So if you hold down and add up, if will stay down.

This is off topic tho :p .

yeah dbf is kinda shitty on hitbox...
If I need to do dbf, I've been sliding my finger from down to back, then pressing forward. So if it's down/right/left, I'll slide my index from down to right, then hit left with my ring finger. Its helped a lot. I don't end up with :d:qtl:qtr diagonal inputs. It's usually :d:qtl:l:r or just a nice clean :d:l:r.

Absolutely not off-topic, I love it. It's interesting to hear what things you guys are experiencing since I've never actually discussed with other Hitbox players. It's only been a month for me using this thing and I have a hard time putting it down. Don't be afraid to throw some more character specific difficulties, I want to know!

The SOCDs allow you to do some cool stuff like 2 frame dashes and FADCs in Street fighter.

Since B+F equals neutral you hit forward, hold it and quickly tap back and youll get dash. I think it makes the double tap motions less awkward.

And to add in a focus dash in SF just tap MP+MK along with Back and youll get an instant focus dash, and can even walk forward through fireballs if your timing is better than mine. Using it in combos is really easy too if you are canceling a motion that ends in forward just do the input I said and youll get it, you may do it too fast though.
