Ok, heres what this video is about. when your opponent is caught by Reptile's ELBOW-DASH you have some time to perform his RUN-DASH a couple of times, but if fast enough you would be able to perform these mix-ups before your opponent gets up with a crouching or standing block!

FIRST OPTION: your opponent is still in the animation of getting up, so you could go for a grab. (thats if your opponent chooses to get-up)

SECOND OPTION: If your opponent tries to duck your grab, your ACID-BALL will catch their crouching block. but the animation for the ACID-BALL is kinda slow, so most players wouldn't get caught by it. (but still worth a try)

THIRD OPTION:if your opponent will anticipate that your gonna run up on them, they would try to get up with a "wakeup attack" preventing you from GRABBING and ACID-BALL mix-ups. So this is where EX-FAST FORCEBALL comes in, its faster than the normal b,b 3 FORCEBALL and is more tougher against most of your opponent wakup attacks(depending).

FOURTH OPTION: this is when you "THINK or KNOW" your opponent is going to stand up without blocking, jump away or wakup with an attack that is slower than your 3,2,1

FIFTH OPTION: XRAY , if you look closely, i did the XRAY at the right time. right when my opponent got up!. but this is the same as OPTION THREE, plus you have ARMOR included to your XRAY!. and try to RUN-DASH after the XRAY and mux-up more stuff!
watch what i did after Reptile's XRAY

Oh man, I love it. So many different mix up options. In the video you posted you could do a mix up force ball instead of a third run. So just as long as the run doesn't hit it just stops like that?

Its possible to do a forceball mix up but the RUNNING around creates pressure and confusion on your opponent. Thats why its so many different options on how you think your opponent would react to a specific one.

ELBOW-DASH stops if: your at a distance,in the middle of a kombo-to ELBOW-DASH and if your opponent is floored/laying on the ground(you'll either run pass them or just stand right behind your opponent)

You make me want to play Reptile because of this. I absolutely love messing with the opponent's mind when they're knocked down. Reptile seems like a very big threat if you're down on the ground. Same situation with Akuma in SSF4 (which I main). Thanks for the info. I got so many characters to try out now.

A couple of problems here. First all of these options are high risk. A wake up move will beat them all cleanly. When your opponent executes a wake up move correctly the move has invinciblity frames. In other words his attack will beat yours. It doesnt matter if your move comes out faster or not. It will still lose.
Also even if you run up and try to mixup between a throw or the over head acid ball an uppercut will probably beat them both. The acid ball comes out slow and Id guess probably all uppercuts in the game are probably faster and will knock him out of it.
Some of these options COULD work some of the time, but understand they are all risky. Its best to know who you can bulldog on wakeup and who you cant. You might try this on say Scorpion because at worst youll get hit with a wakeup teleport>free hellfire. I wouldnt try this on Kung Lao though thats for sure.

i deffenatly know it wouldn't work on Scorpion and characters that teleport. i was practicing it on him and he kept teleporting and catching me with hell fire.

and imma have to check out the advantages/disadvantages on the his RUNS to some characters wakup attacks

Yeah, those options are really risky.

But post-dash wakeup options is what inspired me to check this out:

After a dash elbow, immediately throw a meaty fast forceball. If they do not block, they will get hit. If they try to wakeup attack, it will not hit, depending on the character. Techrolls can be caught if they aren't blocking. A good portion of the cast cannot punish this with a wakeup attack. I have not tested to see if it is exempt from wakeup X-Rays...possibly not, but I'm gonna compile the regular wakeup attacks.

This doesn't work on the following characters as their wakeup attack will catch you: Reptile (dash elbow), Smoke (shake), Raiden (superman)
The following characters require perfect timing to not be punished: Johnny Cage (shadow kick), Ermac (lift/push), Nightwolf (shoulder), Jax (dash punch), Kano (straight ball), Baraka (blade rush), Kabal (EX spin)

It's a great way to start up your zoning after a dash elbow. It definitely allows Reptile to really take advantage of the specific ranges where dash elbow will punish a projectile.

Nice find man for sure i will start working on these right away as soon as i have time. =]

Run dash? You mean cancelling the dash animation with elbow dash?
I'm trying to figure out how to elbow dash then run past them while they are on the ground. You can't elbow dash passed the opponent when they are on the ground. I've seen plenty of videos where when you do ED then run dash over them and still have time to get off a forceball before they get up. What's the easiest way to do this?

Yes you can. I do it all the time. Do elbow dash x 2 then instantly FB.
