Grapplers?

I can't really blame them I suppose. i till can't understand grapplers myself all to well. most have 30-50% throws some even have 75% and despite all that they hardly EVER win any majors.

I have no clue what it takes to break a grappler but it's not damage.

Sure but they can't just give him 30% off a throw like they do to balance with grapplers like zhangief in other games, instead they give him several different ways to confirm into that damage and strong normals to contend in the neutral. Thus is why the only change most people are even asking for for him is just like an OH in one of his string (2F4 or B312) so that our pressure can be more consistent and ambiguous and(or) to be able to tick off of the 1 in B312 for a string that we can stagger into command grab. Right now his pressure is a little linear and he just needs like one more option to really be able to confuse. Like I said before they can't just balance with more damage because there aren't different size health pools for characters

Either that or add juggle potential after an ex grab, that way you can add a little more damage or manipulate positioning or (in some cases) put a buff on (like jason's healing) safely.

Is there a viable grappler in this at all? I mainly play grapplers in fighting games and command grabs and their setups are mostly my bnbs in games like street fighter, blazblue et al, I haven't really played any NRS games in the past few years, picked up MKX and actually am enjoying it. My current main is wrestler Jax but I really would like to see if there was a character that was focused more on command grabs and in particular like a few unblockable command grabs?

Idk, either way, I love the game.
Relentless Jason or Outlaw Erron Black.

ALL I HAVE IS THE GREEN.
Grapplers suffer from "grab immune" moves in NRS games. Command grabs just don't have priority over certain normals/strings.

I'd say Erron is the best grappler because the ease of connecting his tick throws. Relentless/Unstoppable Jason might be the second best grappler because of b1~Squeeze, unfortunately that particular tick throw is extremely difficult to pull off in a match.

I'd say stick to Jax! I play Kotal Kahn and Jax! Kotal just because I fell in love prior to the games release. Always liked mk9 Jax but picked him up late in the game...
