Google Trends Mortal Kombat 11

I decided to take a look how the interest of MK11 is going compared to the some other fighting games now.

Street Fighter V: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=Street Fighter V

Tekken 7: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=Tekken 7

MK11: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=Mortal Kombat 11

MK11 vs Tekken 7 vs SFV: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=Mortal Kombat 11,Tekken 7,Street Fighter V

MK is such a big name, but it seems the interest keeps going down since release considering it's a game that came out last year.
Tekken despite being old and pretty much MKX era, is still holding own it's own.
SFV; Champion edition raised the interest for the franchise.

Next comparitions will be on final Kombat and when TWT starts

Just threw DBFZ in the mix to see how things are going, and oh well see for yourself: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=Mortal Kombat 11,Tekken 7,Street Fighter V,Dragon Ball Fighterz

Those big spikes you see in the other games are usually the result of major events/releases etc.

For example, if Kombat Pack Season 2 gets announced or whatever, there will be a huge spoke and an update in Google interest, etc. as people are search for it.

Is there any flaw in the game, or it is perfect 100% as it seems to be for you everytime I read you?

Looks pretty consistent to me. Huge spike on release and minor bumps around the major events.

And it's still getting about 2 - 4 times all the other games.

Much higher in the first 6months because of all the new interest in the game, and now it's settled down to a normal level.

What exactly were you expecting to see?

I literally made a thread with suggestions for improvement.

Please don't attempt to gaslight me. I have things I like I like and don't like, just like everybody else. However, that doesn't make some of the ridiculous talking points and targeted attempts to discredit the game any less ridiculous.

Nor does it justify people having an attitude of complaint and insults/attacks rather than learning and constructive criticism.

It's always going to go down... Always. Nothing is ever going to go up after a period, unless there is something groundbreaking that happens. Even a KP3 wouldn't cause a surge like that after release, or even the numbers in the following 4-6months.

Tekken despite being old and pretty much MKX era, is still holding own it's own.
Not unexpected. The level you're seeing is what i would call a baseline. Anything outside of that shows something interesting happening. makes sense on a game that old but with a strong following.

SFV; Champion edition raised the interest for the franchise.
True. But MK11 still beat it 5-6:1 based on that graph. Seems SF's peaks still aren't as strong as MK's baseline numbers.

Really nothing to see here. MK is more popular at a mainstream level as it shows up in the google searches.

Here's an interesting one. MK's peak is 3.5x the size of the tekken and SF5, and the interest is maintained over a longer period.

But if anyone is trying to infer this has any indication as to the state of the game... well i've got a rock to sell you that keeps bears away.

These are completely different things that have nothing to do with each other.
