The GameStop Hometown Heroes Injustice 2 tournament circuit invites players from across the United States to compete in one of eight online regions. Starting June 4, players will fight online in a double-elimination tournament using their favorite DC Legends to rise to the top ranks. Competitors from all regions will battle online each week, with the Top 8 matches from a select location broadcast live every Wednesday. Everything leads into the Regional Finals where the top four players from each city will head to a local GameStop location to battle for prestige and prizes.
After the finals, each regional hero will be flown to the 2017 GameStop Consumer Expo in Las Vegas to compete in the GameStop Hometown Heroes Top 8 Championship on August 27th.
Registration is now closed. Thank you to the thousands of players that participated, and best of luck to our Heroic 8 competing in Las Vegas.
They will be fighting for a $5,000 prize pool, plus the champion and runner-up will move on to compete in ELeague starting October 27th.
