I can beat the first 4 Mk arcade games without dying, as well as punch out. I was also able to beat the Terminator on NES with one credit lol.

honestly the easiest way to beat these older games fast and perfectly is to use an emulater, what u do is play each part of the level in the game and any time you get to a tricky part, u use a save state to play those parts over and over again till u can play through it flawlessly. U do this the entire game then when your finished u do a playthrough with no save states and can make it through without much trouble at all.

I don't know about one credit...but i did manage to Beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on master ninja mode AND beat all of the online missions save for 2 which are so damn cheap that they are dependent on your luck and endurance and abuse of game mechanics to win.....i gotta get back to those some day
