Anyone have a scan or image file for original Mortal Kombat 2 CP Overlay? I'm looking to photoshop it to include the run button in the design so I can put it on my MK2 cab now that my switcher is already to go and wire up my run buttons.

Any input would be greatly appreciated :)

You could use the MK3 button layout to determine the right place to drill a hole for the run button.

If only that guy knew.. The original MK3 CP artwork came as a damn sticker set and it would bring up alot more then $110 in it's original packaging :)

I sure hope no one falls for that shit he put up there.

No. Someone sent me all this stuff a couple years ago before mamemarquees had them. I forgot who it was or I'd credit them.

Mamemarques as far as I can tell are not original scans - they have different colors to them. They look like they have copies to me.

Sweet thanks Mike, I'll give that a shot. What I was hoping to do was photoshop an original MK2 image to make the run button layouts on it and have Run on in the same font/color as the rest.

I guess I may just have to drill them in have it like that, don't think I'm going to find a hi res MK2 CP overlay. I'd put a MK3 layout on if it was the same, but it is slightly larger than the MK2 overlay if I'm not mistaken, so the button placement maybe slight different than the factory drill outs on my MK2 cab right?

For exact placement; I would use a piece of plywood and use the MK3 layout, drilling the HP/LP and HK/LK buttons out.
For the run button I would just drill the centre hole.
Put that on your current CP with all controls taken out, slide the plywood on there and install the 4 buttons through the plywood on your CP.
Then I would just drill the centre hole, take the plywood off and drill the actual hole for the run button.

I've been looking for the CP, side art, bezels for UMK3. A friend of mine is getting an umk3 board and he's planning to put it on a dedicated cab, but he wants the cab to look as original as possible. Is there a chance you may have all those and send them to me? thanks a lot in advance

I'm glad you brought up MameMarquees. They have seriously top quality stuff over there, but the things I ordered weren't exactly accurate though you'd really have to be a collector to know it. The SF2CE control panel and bezel I ordered used different fonts and placing than the original, text that should have been bold was plain and the copyright logo at the bottom is completely hidden by the background in some strange way - but other than the little nitpicky stuff the quality is awesome.
