Just seen it on twitter, fucking epic. I love how NRS still paying attention to those iconic actors who did wonderful job fleshing out the OG mk characters. 1st Shang, now Raiden, Hopefully we'll see Kano sometime too.
Considering the actor playing him, Trevor Goddard, died years ago, I don't think that'll happen.
And the second actor who played him in MK Legacy has also died...
I love that NRS appreciates the MK movie in general. I can think of so many petty game devs who would get all defensive about a movie adaptation, and think that anything from the adaptation is non-canon and automatically inferior.
Meanwhile NRS happily embraces the film's legacy, and takes inspiration from it. Johnny's $500 sunglasses, Liu Kang/Kitana, Raiden being a mentor instead of a participant in the tournament, and now Cary Tagawa, Christopher Lambert, the movie theme, and lots of other shit. It's just so awesome. Good on you NRS.
