Exactly. My thinking is why would they tease what all of us already know about? And some of us already own.

If anything they would just release them on the market and tell us (like arkham or red son) "so and so from collectors edition now available to purchase on so and so..." instead of teasing it as if it were something new which is pretty dumb.

They are going on sale this week, New 52 Superman was even in the Zod trailer.

They are just teasing it because there are actually some people who don't even realize they are in the game.

Also since New 52 Grundy ISN'T A part of the Superman/Bats/WW Bundle that means we are most likely getting a Villains New 52 pack which hopefully means we'll get costumes for BA and others.
