While I don't play Fortnite and certainly do not enjoy the genre, it's cool seeing MK featured in it, because it's honestly probably THE most famous game right now, barring maybe Minecraft, so it basically functions like a giant Times Square ad for these kinds of things - remember, Madonna launched a videoclip exclusively first on some event on Fortnite lol.

Good visibility for MK is always a win, and specially now that WB is rumored to be on the brink of bankruptcy.

Being a fan of the game you have NO idea how cool this is

it’s been a long time coming

for those who don’t know WB has worked for Fortnite in the past but it’s been about a year since last December that they have callabed

a LOT of Fortnite fans were asking if WB was coming back at all and wanted the skins the game and December 2024 it was surprising announced of their return!

This is huge news and I’m floored!

This is actually huge for wb fn fans had been asking for wb to return for a long time and there was no DC representation in the game for a full year till December

but yea it’s one of the biggest platforms in the world so big ups to WB and Epic for this one ya know?

 

Cool. It’s about time Mortal Kombat characters appear in other video game franchises. Hopefully Sub Zero and Scorpion will appear in the new super smash bros game

Used to love Fortnite, especially when the console version finally improved the controller options for building. It was a lot of fun learning and improving building on a controller. I got pretty good at it too. But they just kept adding ridiculousness to the game, which I get, but it just quickly became a game I no longer found fun to play.

Anyway, it’s cool to see that they finally collaborated with MK. I remember way back when Decay made concept art for potential Fortnite MK characters. Here’s what I could find, Sub and Scorp concept art he made:
