dat PL swag... laughed my ass off when he started dancing. Congrats to PL, was nice to see his Rayden again too, but damn his Kabal is looking solid as hell.

Yeah I agree. His Lao hasn't looked very good recently by his standards. I agree with Pig that he's playing Raiden at a higher level now (though I'm sure Lao is still the character for him). His Raiden looked super sharp and yeah, that reaction to teleport Sektor's wakeup tele after B3 was insane.

I was really happy with most of the MK sets. The players looked generally sharper than they did at UFGT though you can still tell some are rusty (Wafflez's anti-airs and anti-cross ups aren't what they used to be), and his spacing was a little off (it was insane at Final Round, where he was using B23 to punish jump ins).

I saw Big D's brother a lot during the stream... that's a serious chin curtain he's got there. Does he play MK/Injustice too? Big D

Very disappointing to see a complete absence of VSM in MK9.
I guess the only ones standing between PL and his tripeat now are....the Vegas crew and GGA.

Looks like EVO won't have many entrants for MK but the level of competition will be very high.
No easy matches : 30-40 best players.
Reo and cd jr Will make impact as the Vegas crew.
Dizzy s cage and pig of the huts kenshi Will cause lots of salt.
Sawnik fawx maybe for the upset.
Reo vs Pl in finals would be hype.

Nice matches. As always I'm glad to see Kitana and Sektor (thanks to 16bit & Gross), but it was also very refreshing to see some Raiden played (and very impressively too by PL) at final stages of a tournament.

Omg, you haven't heard the most of it.

MLG Columbus with us in the same vicinity was mostly random IMDABES chants and singing classic R&B tunes out of nowhere.
