Tech - Mournful Ex glaive Lockdown

Sup folks got some Mournful kitana stuff here..... ok so it's not a true blockstring anymore but it looks this is still REALLY good for pressure because it seems that even though there is a gap thx to the returning glaive you can beat out armored reversals easily i haven't tried it on everyone but for the most part i have tried it on kung Lao (tempest spin) , Jax, Sub-zero, kung jin, Johnny cage (ex shadow kick), and kano and it successfully beat their ex moves... though this won't work on Reptile because he is able to duck the returning glaive so he doesn't get locked down and can slide his way out... let me know what you guys think......

There's no point, just do ex-glaive and block if you think they'll reversal by the time the glaive comes back it will be a full combo punish instead of something wonky that might not work. Good players will just finish blocking the glaive and wait until you do something like 2,1.

it was really to show what ex glaive can do not so much of just doing 2,1.

If they do press something that's a full combo against them just from the glaive returning, i'll take the chip damage instead of a full hit that leads it's a 28% or more combo. If anyone tries reversaling out of that instead of a goro player, they're a scrub.

Also i'd rather have my frame advantage after instead of losing it because a badly timed ex-glaive is actually negative.

oh yea you can back dash no doubt but she has enough time to actually run up and fully combo punish it.... i tested so far on characters with pretty good back dashes like kano,sub,tremor and kitana. still testing double back dashes but single ones yea she run up.

Why do 21 when 212 jails 100%? You can literally just loop 212 xx EX Glaive 'til you're out of meter and the opponent can't do shit. Even taking a hit on any part of it guarantees a combo. Shit's better than any of the pre-patch loops.

badly times ex glaive? you won't lose frame advantage because if they choose not to do anything and you end with 2,1 she is still at +2 so you are still in advantage.

that's character SPECIFIC not universal because Tempest Lao can do the same with certain characters....... overall i tried this on a good amount already

so once again this character specific because Lao does the same with tempest he can jail a few into a guaranteed 112124 after an ex orbiting hat... so nowhere was i spreading false information because im pretty sure we all try out things on our own after watching a video on something.

There is a gap, if you do backdash badly she can shadow kick you on reaction.
