Video/Tutorial ETC McFly's Science Shaolin Series - Chapter 5: Kung Lao Complete Guide, 2014 Edition

Yesterday, ETC Mcfly graced the Mortal Kombat community with the fifth chapter of his Science Shaolin series, which is basically a full-length tutorial on how to master the Shaolin arts with his iconic hat-wielder, Kung Lao! This is targeted towards beginner-level and expert-level Kung Lao players and is definitely worth checking out, as it covers knowledge spanning back from the game's release date of April 19, 2011 to the current year of 2014! Modes of use.

1.- Jip + b1,f1, Ground Hat *To provoke the "wakeup" movement of the Opponent, then teleport + 3+COMBO (Example 1) or provoke Block (Dive Kick + Throw Example

2).

*Kabal can not reach Kunglao.



Double NJP (Neutral Jump Punch) + Safe Teleport



2.- Teleport 3 + 2,1,Spin,NJP,Spin,2,4 + Hat EX,NJP+down+4(DiveKick)+Teleport + 1 or 4 (QUICK)** (39%). *(42% starting with JIP+Teleport3)

**Pressing Teleport+1 (Kunglao appears on the left).
**Pressing Teleport+4 (Kunglao appears on the Right).

- with this two variables, the mental game begins.


*The wakeup moves can not hit kunglao and is in position to jump and follow the Pressure

i should mention, u can also get 50% by doing tele~3, 21~spin, Ex Hat, Jk Dk, Dk, 241+3 2

I hate to resurrect a year old thread but Ive been trying to nail down the flashy 2013 bnb with the extra spin, has anyone been successful at it thus far? I fail to connect the ender after the second spin.

It's as such, jip+teleport 3+2,1, spin, jk, dk, 2 ex hat, dash, 2, spin, dash here, too? 2,4,1+3, 2. I'm starting to think its not viable and will probably give up to rely on the standard dk bnbs. @ETC Mcfly, were you able to consistently use it back then?
