I feel like I'd be a lot more hype for Ermac if they'd shown some more (well, any) of Kitana and Rep. I mean he's cool and all, but seeing him and not the characters I was really excited for...yeah, I'm butthurt and not ashamed of it. Really interesting variations though, and I don't understand how people are dissing the floating. Yeah, a bunch of dudes did it in Injustice, and Ermac's doing it too. But it makes sense, and within the context of Mortal Kombat, still makes him pretty unique.

Kung Lao, on the other hand....dude is looking mean. I've always liked Kung Lao, but never picked him up because I just liked other characters more. But this time around, that throw, that X-ray, those variations, the mad style on everything he does, I'm lovin' it. As much as I love Kano, I think Kung might be my new favorite returning character, at least until we finally DO see some Reptile.

Yo I dont like the fact that he is floating around in his stance like Black Adam and Supes does but I will get used to it. but I like for him to stay on the ground like in MK9.

I do believe Sindel could do that. I didn't play her at all in MK9 but she certainly did that in MK3.

She could sort of dash in the air but that was it. This is like HAwkgirl where Ermac can move in all directions, not just forward/back. Plus he can attack out of it, which SIndel couldnt do.

It was super slow and super punishable. You could try and cover yourself with a fireball but that was pretty much it.

Oh by far from all of the older characters, Kano and Kung Lao are looking mighty interesting. More so than the Ermac reveal.
