PL losing to CD jr and then Curbo was a good thing for him, because he probably realises how far behind he has fallen. And to be fair to PL, he got beat by the best player in the scene and a guy that took out some of the absolute best before eliminating him.

Say what you want about PL, he has to go to EVO to defend his title. And even if he loses, he's won EVO once, which is more than anyone can say, and you only have to win something like that once to be officially the best at the time.

I agree, this just makes EVO hype go into overdrive, so many surprises and so many upsets, hopefully we see more people coming out that haven't been as prominent on the tournament scene and putting in work, surprising the community with their performances.

Everyone loses at some point, this will just be something to work towards for PL and keep the scene fresh and interesting.

Because the distance between his face and someones fist is greatly reduced in the offline tournament setting. You don't have a tv and 500+ miles protecting you for talking shit. To be fair to curbo he backed up his shit talking.

I agree, he couldn't have lost to better people. The way he lost to CDjr was really weird to me watching it at the time though, I'll have to rewatch that. I don't understand what the point of rushing the match was on his part.

Everyone is blowing up PL, but he won 3 games straight without losing 1 round. That's not bad. He lost to the best player at the moment and was probably taken by surprise by Curbo. I expect PL to put in more work and make a bigger splash at MLG Anaheim.

Impossible online unless you're playing on a very good connection, and the Reptile player lets go of his controller after you block the Elbow Dash (or remains Stand blocking while you use B3 1 2). That, or you use Sektor and his 6-frame jab...or Reptile himself.

And don't say you can punish it with a grab. Only works if they block after you block the Elbow Dash. Otherwise, they can duck or jump out.

Reptile online is bullshit. Absolute bullshit.

I ALWAYS punish with a b3 or f33 nut punch. Maybe some people need to upgrade that connection :/

LOL...why is everyone so quick to bash online so much? I'd say 90% of our community is online warriors that just watch streams. If you add the good players you have a great connection with. There should be no problems for practice until some of us get off our ass and go to a tournament.
